This mobile application developed by Punjab Safe Cities Authority with the coordination of Punjab Police to facilitate the citizen’s of Pakistan to Check Criminals Record Online. This Android based mobile application available on play store and a small registration process is required to verify any citizen record with their CNIC online. You can check criminals record online after verify your record with SMS notification. The basic purpose of this application is to facilitate public to search or find the criminals profile or any background record of any citizens available in the database of Punjab Police. The citizens can help himself and follow the process specifically before hire any employee, any business deal or marriage related activities.
The IT team of Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) and Punjab Police launched this mobile application for android mobile users on initial stages.
Process to Check Criminal Record Online
Step 1: Download the Mobile Application “Pehchaan” from Google Play Store.
Step 2: Register yourself with CNIC and Mobile Number.
Please fill up the complete your personal form to get the facility along with CNIC and Mobile No.
Step 3: A verification code will be received on your mobile.
As a result an SMS will received from PSCA database and short code will receive to validate your mobile number
Step 4: Finally, Search your CNIC of any citizens to get the record of criminals record.
If any record is available in the record of Punjab Police then the Mobile Application will show the message that a criminal record found in the database of Punjab Police. This application will show the full profile of this person like his name with pictures, FIR No along with Police Station where this FIR lodged.
If the searched person not found any criminal record in the database of punjab police then the message show that “No Criminal Record Found”. Initially the pehchaan mobile provided the criminals record online of Lahore District. However in next phases we hope that PSCA will integrate the all Punjab Police record to facilitates the other Districts Citizen.
